Introducing our new full time staff member…

My name is Tori Goble and I am the new Junior Legal Assistant at Walker Murdoch Law.

I joined the firm back in 2018 as an after school girl and have started full time now that I have completed High School & NCEA level 3.

When I was an after school girl my job consisted of lots of little jobs such as deliveries, filing documents and helping staff around the office.

My job has significantly evolved from when I started in 2018 to now. My job now varies on a day-to-day basis from, delivering documents around the city to other law firms to being a PA to Makareta one of the Solicitor’s at Walker Murdoch Law. My dream job when I was at school was to become a Police Officer, but after learning that was a lot of fitness training within the Police I turned to the next best thing to me, being a Legal Secretary.

I have always been interested in the Law and how it works, so my time has come, and I am now studying to be a Legal Executive completing my first paper this semester. I decided to complete my studies as soon as I left school to keep my mind busy and continue learning.

I am very thankful for not only the Directors at Walker Murdoch Law for giving me the opportunity to chase my dreams to study to become a Legal Executive in the future but also to all the Staff at Walker Murdoch for contributing to my dreams. I love my job and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
